"If a Kyoto's craftsman and a Shinto priest, who nurture the Japanese tradition, would work with an IT researcher and a media artist, what could come about? The relation between the Japanese culture and technology will be studied.
We will hold an exhibition and an international workshop on the "cultural computing", relating to an IT expression of the Japanese culture. As an excursion, we plan to visit the famous Shimabara Sumiya which stillexists today.
